The Turned Turtle Bar and Restaurant is unlike any other on Little Corn Island. With a bistro style and beach setting, we offer some of the most mouth watering fare on the island along with our semi world famous Pina Colada and Margarita.
EXCELLENT 834 reviewsPosted on Tripadvisor Clare JVerified Friendly Island Paradise. The staff of LCI Beach and Bungalows work hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful cabins and an amazing Caribbean island setting. The staff helped us set up horseback riding, snorkeling and recommended places to eat. Of courses, some of the best food we had was at the Turn Turtle Restaurant right on site. We really enjoyed our stay here and strongly recommend it to other travelers.Posted on Tripadvisor Vera OVerified Best Hidden Gem Everything about this little hidden gem is completely worth it. We did not know what to expect upon arrival or even anything about the island itself; it just happens to be one of those places people don't really know about. They greeted us upon arrival on the beach with a wheel barrel for our luggages. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful since the moment we stepped foot on the beach to the end of our trip when we left early morning. The room was beautiful along with our view and it was cleaned daily; the footbath outside the bungalow was a nice touch. There was a lot of sargassum when we were there but that didn't stop of from having such an amazing experience. I highly recommend staying here! It was a quick walk to the Otto Beach and town! Thank you so much for giving us an amazing vacation :) ❤️Cory and Vera from ColoradoPosted on Tripadvisor travelingNYfamilyVerified The most peaceful place I have ever been The perfect place to completely unwind. I highly recommend at least 4 nights. An amazing white sand beach at your door step, not a sound to be heard except the birds. First rate service and great local experiences right from the beach. Don't miss the fishing trip and beach BBQ with Captain Peter or a massage under the palm trees with Annia.Posted on Tripadvisor Erin CVerified A Piece of Paradise I feel so lucky to have experienced this beautiful piece of paradise. From the moment we pulled up to the property on the boat and staff were there to greet us and take our luggage, I knew this was a special place. The bungalows are so lovely. All the staff and food were top notch. The property was cared for daily. We went snorkeling one day and saw a nurse shark (harmless), a sea turtle, squid and some really cool looking fish. I had an incredible 90 minute Energyzing massage. She gave me options for where I wanted the massage. I chose the doorway of my bungalow, which was semi private and could still feel the breeze and hear the ocean. There are multiple hammocks around the property. I loved relaxing and reading in them. The constant breeze was perfect to keep any bugs away and the temperature was so comfortable. There are multiple hikes that can be taken around the island. It’s a gorgeous island to explore. I already miss the Chocolate and Caramel Frozen Frappuccinos. I travel a lot and Little Corn Beach & Bungalow is top on my list of favorite spots.Posted on Tripadvisor Ben KVerified Little Beach Paradise Loved this resort so much. Super cute bungalows just by the beach with a nice breeze, an excellent restaurant and amazing service by super-attentive staff.Posted on Tripadvisor Karl SVerified Pivot to Little Corn Isand from San Juan Del Sur for minimum 3 nights. The travel from Managua to Big Corn Island to Little Corn Island is quite a journey and well worth it. Little Corn Beach Bungalows (LCBB) had Mr. Elvis meet us at the Big Corn Island airport and shuttled us to our panga boat where Captn P (Peter) met us with an invigorating boat ride to LCBB. Darren (Rambo) met us upon arrival and dialed in the agenda, amenities and expectations for our wonderful stay. Rambo mentioned a snorkel, fishing and dinner excursion which I suggest anyone who loves water, fishing, snorkeling and a new experiences should entertain signing up for. We were dining in town after Scuba Diving ( while scuba diving with dolphin dive we saw Green Turtles, Moray Eels, Angel Fish, Lobster, Conch,Hermit Crab, Sea Ray and more.) To our delight Rambo picked us up at our dining location for our fabulous excursion. We trolled, my son caught a 5lb Jack fish and my daughter caught some yellow tail snapper for our dinner. The lovely Chefs Rambo brought on the trip made fresh Ceviche, deep fried plantains and our fish to perfection with a fresh carved coconut for a thirst quenching finish. The entire staff at LCBB was so friendly, sweet and attentive. The restaurant at LCBB is by far the best food on the Island. There is a team of co-workers that unselfishly work together to clean the Beach, the bungalows, load and unload your baggage, prepare you coffee, and serve you fresh made meals all with an endearing attitude and infectious smile. If you are headed to San Juan Del Sur adjust your trip for a minimum 3 night stay to the Little Corn Beach and Bugalows. This is what we did and trust me I doubt anyone you know has ever been here.Posted on Tripadvisor Maros BVerified Total peace Great place. No cars, no rush, just beautiful place at the edge of the palm forest, straight on the beach. Amazing night sky, total peace. Staff is very friendly, cabins are super clean and beautiful.Posted on Tripadvisor Wendy AVerified Sea , sand and smiley staff We have travelled the world and experienced many “ hide away “ locations before but this one will be the most memorable . No cars in Caye Caulker didn’t translate into no buggies and there were loads . We received a very warm welcome from Rambo and the warmth continued throughout our 5 day stay . Genuine , smiling staff and no forced smiles . Loved the personalised touch by being addressed by our names . Little things that make a huge difference. Our private boat back to Big Island was organised by the hotel. Breakfast was excellent . We didn’t try dinner as it was a bit early for us . Beach location was great , very relaxing while only a 15 minute walk to the village . We had a front row bungalow, which I would totally recommend . Enjoyed the fact there were only a few bungalows and so didn’t feel like a resort which we avoid. To sum up , a very memorable stay on a great islandPosted on Tripadvisor CMT/ECBVerified Magic Just left this morning. Every review that I read in advance of our week at LCBB was spot on: expert attention to detail, terrific atmosphere, incredible staff and the best food on the island. I could restate all of those superlatives in detail, but just understand that it’s all genuine. This place is for real. There’s really a lot more to it though, and you have to see for yourself. If you have even the slightest adventurous spirit this place will knock your socks off. The best way I can describe it is that it’s like being let in on an amazing secret. I’m giving it six stars because who says I can’t. We’re planning our return trip now.Posted on Tripadvisor Nicole PVerified Stay Here Loved the bungalows. They’re right on the beach . Amazing breeze coming into your bungalow. We stayed in the Gulliver bungalow and it was beautiful. Beach front view. Location is remote so you’ll have to walk 15 to 20 mins to the town depending on which path you go. But you have to walk everywhere anyway so might as well stay on the better side of the island. If you’re on the fence between here and Yemaya Reef I totally recommend here. Yemaya is very far from town and the jungle paths can be challenging for some:Load more
